Course Information
Lam Luk Ka Country Club features 2 x 18-hole championship & resort style golf courses, designed by Roger Packard, and opened since 1994. The Championship East Course (A&B) stretches a challenging 7,012 yards from championship’s blue tees; it places a premium on driving the ball long and straight, and will punish errant golf shots. This par 72 championship course remains one of Thailand’s most challenging layouts, and consistently maintained to highest standard possible. The West Course (C&D) is relatively short, measures 6,605 yards from back tees; water comes into play on 15 holes, making course management a key factor in scoring. It is a favourite of tourists and recreational golfers, and is home to over 100 species of birds and wildlife.
Lam Luk Ka sets the stage for a golf experience not easily forgotten, and a must play course for every golfers visiting Bangkok.

Signature Hole
“easygolfbooking.com” recommends hole A2 of Championship East Course as a must play hole. This picturesque par 5, with refreshing sight of lotus flowers covering crystal-cleared lakes, demands a combination of both power and accurate shot makings.
The hole extends a challenging 554 yards from championship’s blue tee, or a friendly 507 yards from regular white tee. A difficult driving hole, with water guarding the entire left side of the fairway and few annoying fairway bunkers on the right.
A straight & safe tee shot will mentally set you up to play an equally challenging 2nd shot. The widest and smartest area to lay-up is to position the ball between 120 -130 yards from the pin, avoiding water on the left.
The approaching 3rd shot to the green is equally challenging and most critical to the final score of this hole.
The two-tiered green is fairly narrow and falls away to the left, makes it difficult to get the ball close to a left pin placement. You need to position ball close enough to the flag in order to end up with a memorable birdie, or a refreshing par, and march on a positive mood.
